We headed up to Atlanta this past weekend to photograph a wedding in nearby Acworth. Cara and Jonathan chose a venue with charm, character, and history…The Conservatory, where the event staff provide a complete package for any event…catering, florals, cakes, bar service, DJ, and more. Their staff was friendly and fun…they like to dance with the guests. One of the highlights of the evening was DJ Dre…best DJ I’ve ever seen. He’s entertaining, interactive, professional, and a really nice guy.
The day started with all the girls getting ready on the top floor of
The Conservatory and all the guys hanging out in the lower level (they got the best deal…it was the coolest spot around). Cara and Jonathan opted for a first look before the ceremony so the bridesmaids brought Jonathan out to the main floor where he waited for his bride to walk up behind him. Now, Cara and Jonathan are a particularly fun-loving couple so there weren’t too many serious moments during the day, including the first look when Jonathan took his first opportunity to cut up.
They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, along with a group of family and friends who knew how to enjoy a wedding. With DJ Dre’s help, the dance floor stayed packed all evening. Guests enjoyed lots of special touches, including a very unique wedding favor…bottles of personalized, homemade wine, courtesy of the bride’s little ol’ winemaker parents.
These are a few select photos of the day to give you the feeling you were there, and help those who were there re-live the day.
Enjoy!
